Reservations Reserving one of our planning rooms or our multipurpose room is easy. First, use the "View Schedule" link for the desired room to see if it's open at the needed time. Then call and let us know the date, duration, how many people you expect, whether you'll need to teleconference, and if so, with more than one other site at a time. We'll also need to know what other toys you'll bring / want us to provide. For the multipurpose room, we'll need to know how you want it arranged. We can set it up in classic training or theater style as shown in the pictures, or move the tables together to create a very large conference table with seating for 12 plus extra seats along the side walls. Will you be doing any catering? We allow just about any restaurant to cater in our facility. We provide coffee and sodas on the honor system. Food is allowed in all rooms except the videoconference room (coffee and sodas are OK). We'll collect your credit card information over the phone, but won't charge you until after the meeting. We bill in 15 minute increments. Setting up a videoconference can be really simple or really complex, depending on who's talking to who. If this is the first time for you, call us at least a week in advance to discuss the timing, locations, etc. As above, we'll collect your credit card info but won't charge it until the day of the meeting. Here's the kind of information you'll need to have on hand:
Local restaurants that have agreed to deliver food orders to LAMP include: Here's the process:
As a customer, you agree to pay all charges incurred for the meeting, including any long distance, teleconference bridging, or videoconference bridging charges. Payments for catered items must be made directly to the restaurant, generally at the same time as you place the order. LAMP does not act as an agent. To keep things simple on the meeting day, a credit card reservation is required for estimated room charges. We won't actually charge the card until the meeting is over. We accept Amex, Mastercard, and Visa. Cancellations cost money since we never over-book our rooms. In fact, we typically reserve up to a half hour before and after the scheduled time frame without charge, just to make sure everything goes smoothly. So when you cancel, it's a significant hit to us. If you need to cancel, it's best to do it as far in advance as you can to minimize the costs.
An interruption of service during a meeting can occur due to problems at any endpoint, at a bridge, or simply phone, power, or internet problems. By using our services, you agree not to hold LAMP or Digital Publications, LLC liable for any damages or loss resulting from an interruption of service or other unexpected termination of the meeting. You'll pay only for time connected/in the room if loss of service occurs. |
